Most of our military men and women will not be hospitalized. However, many of those will return carrying the stress and trauma experienced from the War on Terrorism.
While much attention is being given to these issues; much more needs to be done. Short term and long term stress along with the many different levels of reactions to a combat situation should be a top priority.

This coupled with the expectation that those returning and those who have waited can pick up where they left off is unrealistic. The reality of accepting this can be overwhelming as life takes a much different course.

History has shown us that by only addressing the physical wounds, we as a Nation are not living up to our commitment to our military that have put their life on the line for our freedoms.

We ask that you actively continue to improve mental health diagnosis and programs to help for these men and women who are often forgotten.
